Xiaomi is set to launch its most premium smartphone of 2025, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which will make its debut later this month at MWC 2025. As the brand’s flagship, it introduces a completely new design inspired by Leica cameras, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a groundbreaking camera system.
Dual-Tone Design Inspired by Leica
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra retains the signature circular camera module on the back, but with a new internal layout. The camera bump is larger, making it an even more dominant visual feature.
A major highlight is its dual-tone design, blending glass and vegan leather, similar to classic Leica SL2 Silver Edition cameras. The device features a silver-and-black color scheme, giving it a premium, photography-centric look while improving grip.
On the front, it boasts a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 3200 x 1440 resolution, 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and ultra-thin bezels. The 32MP selfie camera is housed in a central punch-hole cutout. The phone measures 229g, making it comparable to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and even lighter than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Snapdragon 8 Elite, Large Battery, and Superfast Charging
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite powers the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, running Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.
It packs a 5,410mAh battery and supports 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. This makes it one of the fastest-charging flagships on the market.

- 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto with 3x optical zoom & OIS
- 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope lens with 4.3x optical zoom

Storage Variants and Expected Pricing
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra measures 161.3 x 75.3 x 9.48mm and will be available in two storage variants:
- 16GB RAM + 512GB storage (widely available)
- 16GB RAM + 1TB storage (limited to select regions)
